FAQs
General
How often should I have my house washed?
A yearly house wash goes a long way! We suggest booking at least one cleaning per year to keep algae, mold, and other contaminants from taking hold and causing long-term damage to your home.
How long does it take to power wash a house?
Each job is distinctive, and the time required varies based on factors like surface size and the extent of buildup. Rest assured—our technicians will keep working on your property until they achieve the best possible results.
How much does power washing a house cost?
Our pricing depends on several variables—square footage, the scope of work, and the materials required. We’ll give you a quote and set up the appointment entirely over the phone, so you never need an on‑site estimate.
How does Cleanrite Pro Wash give quotes over the phone?
Our specialists ask a handful of questions and capture your property's dimensions with cutting‑edge satellite measurement technology, giving us exact square footage to generate the most precise quote possible.
Are Cleanrite Pro Wash services safe for animals, plants and the environment?
Absolutely—our cleansers are fully biodegradable, and our entire process is completely safe for plants and wildlife.
Can the inside of my garage be cleaned?
Our method is intended exclusively for outdoor surfaces.
Can power washing the exterior increase my property values?
Definitely! A professional exterior wash can boost your home’s resale value by as much as $15,000, according to the National Association of Realtors.
Day of Service
Do we have to be home for my services?
No—there’s no need for you to be home. Just be sure to close windows and doors on the service day and give our crew access to a functional water spigot.
What time will Cleanrite Pro Wash be at my home?
Accurately pin‑pointing our arrival time isn’t feasible—our technicians handle multiple, distinct jobs each day. That’s why you don’t need to be home; feel free to enjoy your day while we take care of the work.
Does Cleanrite Pro Wash use my water?
Yes—we’ll need access to a functional outdoor water spigot.
We have well water, can that be used for my power washing services?
Yes—we can work with well water. When our crew arrives, they’ll inspect the well to ensure it can support our process, and we’ll alert you right away if any issues arise.
What happens if there is bad weather the day of my service?
Our crew can operate in wind and rain, but if conditions become extreme, we’ll contact you to reschedule the service.
Service Specific
Will your house washing service remove "green stuff" from my siding?
Yes, it will. The “green stuff” on your siding is algae—a common problem for thousands of homes each year. Our process safely removes algae along with mold, dirt, grime, and other contaminants.
What is a house wash?
A house wash employs a soft‑wash method that uses low‑pressure water and biodegradable cleaners to lift dirt, mildew, algae, and other contaminants from your home’s exterior.
Does Cleanrite Pro Wash clean my windows?
During our house‑washing service, we apply soap and rinse the exterior of your windows, but we don’t hand‑dry or squeegee them.
Does Cleanrite Pro Wash clean brick surfaces?
Absolutely—we use a safe, highly effective method specifically designed for cleaning brick surfaces.
Does Cleanrite Pro Wash clean my gutters?
No—our service isn’t meant to clean gutters from the inside. When we wash your home, we’ll soap and rinse the gutter exterior, but we don’t remove interior debris.
What are the dark streaks on my roof?
The dark streaks on your roof are caused by the algae Gloeocapsa magna, which feeds on the limestone filler in your shingles and leaves a black residue. Our roof treatment specifically targets these stains and eliminates the algae at its source.
What is a roof treatment?
It’s never advisable to power‑wash a roof. Instead, we perform a “roof treatment”: we apply a low‑pressure, specially formulated algaecide that eradicates moss, lichens and black streaks while protecting the roof’s integrity, delivering the best possible results for your home.
Does Cleanrite Pro Wash remove debris from my roof?
We apply a “roof treatment” that eradicates the harmful organisms growing on your roof—not to clear debris, but to eliminate moss, algae, lichens, and similar growths.
Does Cleanrite Pro Wash remove moss from my roof?
We don’t scrape moss off the roof during service, but our roof treatment targets the moss and lichens at their roots. As a result, they’ll die and naturally detach from the roof over time.
How long after a roof treatment does it take for moss to fall of my reoof?
The time it takes for the growths to detach naturally depends on how deeply their roots have penetrated. For that reason, we include a one‑year warranty on our roof treatment, effective from the date of your original service.
What is a concreate wash & seal?
A concrete wash and seal involves low‑pressure cleaning to lift dirt and grime, followed by a siloxane sealer that penetrates the pores and strengthens the material from within. This deep‑sealing action helps guard the concrete against cracking and chipping caused by seasonal freeze‑thaw cycles.
What types of concrete does Cleanrite Pro Wash seal?
Our sealer is formulated for standard poured concrete, which is porous and can absorb the penetrating treatment. Because stamped concrete isn’t porous, the penetrative sealer isn’t suitable for it—though we can still clean (wash) stamped‑concrete surfaces.
What types of sealer does Cleanrite Pro Wash use?
Our treatment employs a high‑grade siloxane‑silane blend, expertly formulated to seep into the concrete and shield it against cracking, chipping, and pitting.
Does the sealer make concrete slippery?
No—our premium sealer penetrates the concrete and protects it from the inside out. As a result, the surface remains non‑slippery and its appearance stays exactly the same after application.
Will Cleanrite Pro Wash remove oil/rust stains or tire marks from my driveway?
No. Although the stains may fade a bit, our process isn’t intended to remove oil, rust, or any other inorganic marks.
Will Cleanrite Pro Wash remove leaf/berry marks from my concrete?
Although our treatment can help fade those marks, it isn’t designed to safely eliminate organic stains. The good news is that organic stains typically disappear on their own within a short period.
